Cyanogenmod 12 For Moto G2

Hello Guys.... I am Now posting Cyanogenmod 12 Rom for Moto G2....

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0 (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Cyanogenmod is one of most popular and feature packed ROM available in the android community and has been successfully ported for our wonderful device By LuK1337 AND luca020400 so all credits go to THEM.....

What's working :

• Boots
• RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
• Wifi
• Bluetooth
• Camera ( Videos And Photos )
• Video Playback
• Audio ( Record and Playback )
• Sensors
• Flash
• Led

What's not working :

• GPS (device only) requires a signal lock from stock to function correctly.
• Touchscreen is not working for like 15-20 seconds after boot 

REQUIREMENTS--

• CYANOGENMOD 12 ZIP ( DOWNLOAD THE LATEST VERSION )
• A CUSTOM RECOVERY INSTALLED IN YOUR DEVICE
• GAPPS PACKAGE FOUND HERE ( DOWNLOAD THE PACKAGE ACCORDING TO YOUR NEED.... I PREFER MINI MODULAR PACKAGE )

NOTE- BE SURE TO BACKUP ALL YOUR APPS,CONTACTS,MESSAGES,ETC. AS THEY ALL WILL BE WIPED

INSTRUCTIONS--

1. Assuming you have downloaded all the required files.... put all those files in your SDcard...

    2. now boot into recovery...

    3. Mount your system,data,cache...

    4. Install the zip...

    5. mount system again if its unmounted...

    6. Flash GApps....

    7. Wipe data,Cache,Dalvik Cache.....

    8. Reboot......

CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE INSTALLED CYANOGENMOD 12 IN YOUR MOTO G2.....

HOW TO GET LOLLIPOP ON YOUR NON ROOTED MOTO G

HELLO GUYS,,,,

As you may know, Installing roms on moto G requires the boot loader to be unlocked.... But Now you can have lollipop on your XT1068....

The OTA file was posted by XDA senior member ravi.avancha released for soak tests so credits go to him...

Requirements--

Moto G XT1068 on KXB21.85-23 firmware version... If u have any other version, Refer to THIS

OTA file-- LINK,  MIRROR

 Instructions--

1. Assuming you are on correct firmware version, Copy the given ota zip in internal sdcard.

2. Now go to settings-about phone-updates and click on check for updates.

3. a update should pop up... click on install

4. your phone will reboot and install the ota..

CONGRATULATIONS YOU NOW HAVE LOLLIPOP ON YOUR MOTO G...

This is a kitkat Based Rom and Is very Stable... Its best for New ROM flashers as it provides stability with performance improvements.

INSTRUCTIONS--

1. Place rom in your sdcard.

2. Boot to recovery by going to fastboot mode ( Volume down + power button ) while powered Off and selecting recovery.

3. mount system,data,cache.

4. Flash The Rom.

5. Wipe cache, data...

6. Reboot...
